How to run the installer on Windows
Quick guide if you see the Microsoft SmartScreen notice
After downloading SCAVA_Free_6.3.1.exe , Windows may show a security notice called SmartScreen. This is normal for new apps or ones with little "reputation".
Choose "Run anyway".
The SCAVA Free installation will continue normally.
What is Microsoft SmartScreen?
SmartScreen protects against unknown apps. If a file has not yet built enough reputation, Windows shows a warning as a precaution.
Change announced in 2024: EV Code certificates are evaluated the same as standard code certificates; they no longer automatically bypass SmartScreen and also need to build reputation. There may be adjustments or postponements from Microsoft.

SCAVA is a program designed to merge files inside other files without altering the container’s properties . For example, you can hide any type of file inside a .jpg image and that image will still work as such: you can open it, view it, share it, and it will remain an ordinary image. However, only with SCAVA can you hide those files, and only with SCAVA can you extract them again .
This capability significantly enhances the security of sensitive or confidential files—whether for an individual, company, corporation, organization, or even a government. Hidden files are not indexed by the operating system nor do they appear in local search engines , which means that, even if someone intercepts your device, they will not be able to find or identify where those files are. In this way we increase entropy and drastically reduce the likelihood that your information will be exposed.
SCAVA Free includes this core feature of invisible concealment.
SCAVA Pro , , in turn, goes a step further: it uses a proprietary encryption system—AES-based yet more robust and advanced. In this case, even if an attacker manages to detect and extract the container file that holds sensitive information, they will not be able to decrypt the content. Without the proper key, access is impossible.
